Stone & Positive Plate Lithograph
with Monoprinting, Blind Embossing, and Methyl Cellulose
Printed on White Rives BFK
16 x 20" edition of 20
This piece titled Motherbird II is an 3 color/3 run print. The process combines both positive plate and stone lithography as well as monoprinting, blind embossing, and methyl cellulose. The washi paper apron or skirt that the Motherbird is wearing is only partially attached with methyl cellulose. This partial attachment allows the apron or skirt to be lifted, so the viewer can take a peak as to what is underneath. While the edition size for this piece is 20, I only have a couple left for sale. This is a bleed print, which means the image reaches the papers edge and there is no border. The image is printed on White Rives BFK 100% cotton (250gsm) printmaking paper.
The purchase of this print does not transfer reproduction rights.
